Retreat Fitness
After a busy day sightseeing or business meetings, The Retreat Spa & Fitness Centre is the ideal haven for relaxing and rejuvenating. The Gym and Hydrotherapy pool are complimentary to guests at the hotel.

Gymnasium
The Gym is equipped with cutting-edge Precor equipment that works for all fitness levels. The hotel offers all members a free fitness assessment and a personal programme to get started. Complimentary reviews are also available to vary and improve training requirements, and appointments with the hotel’s qualified instructors can be booked at the reception. The dedicated weights/strength training room features a Smith machine designed to eliminate the need for a spotter when doing lifts, making it safer than traditional equipment. The weight room also offers a Cable Crossover Machine, which enables visitors to work every muscle group on one machine.

Power Plates
The hotel features the only gym in Cork to offer Power Plates. Just ten minutes three or four times a week will produce significant results. Power Plates is the ultimate low-impact way to maximise fitness.

Sauna and Steam Room
A traditional method of relaxation, the hotel’s Sauna and Steam room is ideal for a post-workout wind down and is available to members at no extra charge.

Hydrotherapy Treatment Pool
This unique pool, the first of its kind in Ireland, has nine invigorative areas to promote well being in water purified by Ozone. This extravagant, 18-metre pool incorporates massage seats and jets, bubble seats, geysers, loungers and a children's pool.

Facilities include:

• Counter swimming jets to strengthen the body and increase fitness
• Air plaque on pool floor for total relaxation
• Two neck showers - pressure waterfall to massage cervical pain
• Foundations - high pressure waterfall to massage shoulders
• Two geysers on pool floor for total body massage
• Three bubble seats to release tension of thoracic regions
• Four massage seats for specific massage of dorsal spine and calves
• Specific massage are (12 wall jets) to massage lower limbs
• Three bubble loungers to release tension on legs and back.
